To anyone that has a forge 007p on their LC

ive fitted it, but cant get anything to secure the top vac hose
what have you all used?

at the moment its on with 2 zip ties, tried the smallest jubilee i could find but it wouldnt sit flush in top of d/v (neither will zip tie ends)

Is this a hose thats under alot of pressure and likely to pop off?
i do about 40 miles a day to work so dont want to use it if its likely to shoot off at 80 on the busy motorway

thanks in advance
away to thrash round the block see if it pops

i've not had a problem with zip-ties myself mate, but think i've got jubilee clip on now just to be sure.

Never had it pop off - although some people have mentioned that zip-ties can melt due to the temperature that the DV can get..

hmm cheers pabs
tryin to think of smallest jubilee you can get, i semi-saved the one-use clip from here but was too hard to get back on
just gave a quick thrash and it didnt pop off, didnt notice much throttle difference either

ill give it a check later and maybe a trip to motorfactors will have to be done

think with zip ties is that the catching block end doesnt sit flush in top of d/v so their both holding at an angle

anyone else had anything with this

i found some small zip ties fitted in perfectly - jubilee not quite so well but *cough* halfords sell some small ones for a few pennies that i ended up using. Think they may have been used for the washer jet hoses etc.

A small jubille clip won't fit right down in the recess on the forge but it doesn't matter, just slot it down as far at it will go and tighten.

im using a small jubilee also, itll not pop off as its a vacuum hose anyway, its the other two larger pipes that can pop off with pressure, ive tightened mine as far as possible and it still creeps a bit but nothing to worry as it has a lip that prevents it from slipping totally.

ok cheers all
the two bigger ones ARE DEFINITELY not coming off, used proper sized jubilee's super tightenend

got some fuel line clips which is all nearest motorfactor had
gnna give them a try

but i guess ur right, experience from my old gt4 tells me vac hoses 90% of the time dont even have a clip to hold them in place
