carried out a VCD check and located 2 error codes which are:
01314 and 00562.

could someone please shed some light on what these codes and what do i need to do to clear them?
could this also be the cause of my loss of power?

thanks

car is 2002 leon 110 tdi

can either of them affect the performance of the car in any way because a recent dyno of my car showed it to be underpowered.

i have new maf, egr is fine, no boost leaks and recent service so i cant think of anything else.

Oil level sensor shouldn't affect performance.

Engine Control Module code is worrying, but non-specific and seems to say there should be other codes stored somewhere.

Have a look underneath to see if the oil sensor on the bottom of the sump has become disconnected. If so that should fix the second code. Clear both codes, then see if either of them comes back or any new codes are set.

Your previous thread showed a big dip in power. It would be useful to log requested vs actual boost as the next step.

Thanks for that.

I have someone with vcds, we done a auto search And specific searches And found nothing else.
How do i log actual boost vs requested boost, and how will that help me source my problem?
I read that a 109 relay wire should stop the engine code, is that right?

A mate of mine is very familiar with high performance German cars and after driving my car told me theres no way it can be under 70 bhp, but the dyno graph says something else.

00562 oil level sensor
check wiring under battery tray as these can chaff through
01314 engine ecu no communication
check data in measuring block 125 and look for a 1 next to engine this is canbus signal
neither of these will affect vehicle performance

Does anyone have any idea why my car is 40bhp underpowered!
I've tried almost everything it's starting to piss me off now.

Gunna sort the codes out, and look for further codes and see if there's any improvements.

What evidence do you have, other than the dyno plot, that it is underpowered? What does it feel like when you're driving it?

as i told you mate you need to check the data blocks to see whats happening
you can check the turbo actuation to see if its boosting correctly
you can check air mass readings etc
you can check the control valves etc
you can bring to me to have a look as i said !

The only proof I have is the dyno graph.

When I rev there's abit of turbo lag then at 2000 revs till 2500 all the boost comes at once.
After that car continue to revs but takes its time and doesn't feel like much power.

Towcester vag thanks but your too far from me and there's someone very close who can do the checks.

What do I need to check for and how?

It could be a number of things.

Check all pipes and do a leak test if you can.

Check / test your MAF.
