whistle

i drove my car tonight home from work when i noticed a very high pitch whistle noise the power and performance is exactly the same as before...my old golf used to make the same noise is this a problem??my golf did it for a whole year with nothing goping wrong with it??

My first post in the soot section ;) Excuse me if im being a retard but should my 130++++ whistle on tickover, sounded like it was coming from underneath the car (more so towards the middle)????? It did it last nite but hasnt done it this morning, everything seems fine and its pulling...

On my 2005 Fr TDI when I accelerate and the turbo starts spinning it emits a high pitched whistle - is it normal, or is it just the high outside temperatures making it do that noise. Cheers

Ok those of you who have seen my car go know it screams like a banshee! Well its starting to get on my wick as im 99% sure now im losing power due to this. The car is stg 2 revo with BF DP back and never made the noise until it had the zorts fitted. Ive had the down pipe removed and refited...

When i turn the car on from cold i get a slight whistle until the car is warm? Ive got a boost gauge and it appears to be boosting fine but get 30psi vac is that right when off the pedal? Did a search couldnt find anything :D Dan

i have an lcr which has been revo'd when on setting 2 or 3 when you accelerate there is a lets say whistle or whine and a slight lag on power this then clears and the power is back, how ever this doesnt happen in the frst setting of the revo any ideas or past experiences regards lee
