Been assing about with a bit of vinyl i've had kicking about for ages. Dam it's trickier than I expected ;) If I'm honist they do not stand up under scrutiny, but stood 1 pace away they look pretty good....But I wanted to know if it would look OK before commiting to a professional to do...

anybody got any pointers on whats the best way to apply the vinyl that goes behind the numberplate. Im not really a bodywork person. cheers Andy.

OK I know this stuff isn't to everyone's tastes but I've got a new splitter to fit to my LCR and before I do that I was considering what it would look like in carbon fibre. Obviously I don't fancy paying heaps for a real carbon fibre one cos it'll just get trashed but I thought about getting...

Anyone ever used this stuff, its for painting over light scratches on plastic in your car?

thoughts please! as my car is fadng badly i have been toying with the idea of vinyling my roof , looked at various samples, matt ,satin ,gloss blacks .. even dare i say it carbon fibre effect this trend seems to work in the dub world . as i cannot quite stretch to £2000 for a full respray

Does anyone know where i might be able to get a roll/sheet, of black vinyl, big enough to cover my car roof with. i can find 25m rolls on ebay, but they're only 600mm wide. Idealy, i'd want to cover the roof in one go. Had a bit hunt about on ebay, but can't find anything huge.

Ive just enquired on a few websites about getting the TDI wrapped, anyone on here got there Leon wrapped? If so how much did it cost? Can anyone reccomend a decent car Vinyl wrapper? Cheers chaps

Does anybody know of any companies that do vinyl wrapping in the Devon area? I'm looking at the possibility of getting my roof done in the new year. I've heard a company called 'Wrapping' in Exeter, Marsh Barton but I can't find any info on them. So any ideas? Thanks, Rich

Hi, I've just ordered some 3M Carbon Fibre Vinyl (the stuff you don't lubricate to apply, was mesmerised by the videos so thought i'd have ago) and some tools, was planning to start with some interior bits and then branch out to maybe doing my roof and exterior trims - without going ott! lol...
