thingy

I've had my K1 for about 4 weeks now and have noticed that the 'boot button' on the key fob doesn't actually open my boot. Is it supposed to do something? Surely they wouldn't give me a key with a button that's not needed? This may sound completely stupid but thought i'd ask here before shouting...

hi, this is a bit odd, but when changin my turbo hoses today sum how i managed to make the valve cap on what i think is a valve from the radiator a bit loose, which then fell into my engine bay and has now vanished. i was jus wondering if any one knows what the valve is for and how i would go...

Will be putting a new stereo on my mk1 leon, question is..do i buy a genuine seat DIN plate, or an aftermarket one ? Always been under the impression OEM fits better. Also seen a stereo i like but..its smaller than a standard CD player, so it has its own plastic adapter thing to make it into...

does anyone know why the so called secret tray under the boot lid cover thingy on the altea does now not come with a catch to keep it up....

Just been topping my brake fluid and spotted this, just wanted to know what is it and what it does, appears to have 3 piping going to it and 2 leading to fuel line rack. The other thing is, they seem to be sticking out abit, should i push them in or leave it? :confused:

When my car is idling I get this funny low sounding popping noise... finally located it as the funny bottle thing on the bottom left hand side of the engine bay by the front bumper. It seems to be fed by two pipes and if you put your finger over the little hole at the bottom it sucks your...

Was under the car the other day, noticed a silver corrugated thing, kind of like a small radiator under the drivers seat, any ideas? 54 plate TDI Cupra.

OK didnt really now what to search for :whistle: Ive had a light come on in the dash. Its the one that looks like the washer squirty. I have fluid in the bottle though? Im confused?

peeps There is one area of my engine bay that really p*sses me off when it comes to cleaning my car - the throttle body..... (long bar bit that goes horizontal across the engine at the front lol ) Mine has a kind-of pitted/rough finish to it, and I can never get it clean when oil gets on...
