Tappet/Chain Tension noise

I know this has been mentioned before, but the noise on AUQ engine is really annoying me......It sounds like a diesel on start up!!! Quietens down after few seconds, but why!!!! I previously had an Audi TT with APX engine and it never had this noise!!! Is it the tappets filling with oil, or as...
