synthetic

As title says whats oil do you guys think is the best quality, I change my oil every six months or less, the Castrol works out at about £50 every change and the Fuchs is £30.00 or there abouts inc VAT?? I change it often but cant decide what is best to look after my engine??:confused:

Ordered some of the millers XFE-PD and was sent the semi synthetic one instead of the Hi synthetic. It's a TDI 130, not that will make much difference!!! Is it ok to mix the 2 oils in the engine ? Maybe a dumb question but need to put some oil in the car asap.
