Had a quote by email for a service on a 2007 model Leon FR petrol of £140, however it says they use synta engine oil what is this ?

Went down to seat yesterday to order the k03s fitting kit and some synta gold and the chap behind the counter said that they didnt stock the oil, ok i thought ill just go to the VW dealership down the road where i got it from about 3 months ago for about £35ish.... So i poped down there earlyer...

Is Quantam Synta Gold Oil any good for a remapped Ibiza Cupra? Does anyone else use it?

Merry Christmas one and all. Washed the car recently and checked the oil, and noticed it was down, so I went to the handbook to see what to top it up with. Bad mistake, as it led on a wild goose (better than turkey!) chase full of 500 numbers and various unfinished arguments about the merits...
