sweet

I've had my 1.2 Reference for about a week now. Is it normal for it to emit a sort of sweet, burning smell when new (the closest thing I can think of is when you make flapjack --- hot treacle and oats). It was really strong at first, and nine days later (360 miles) I can still pick up a faint...
