What size Surfboard can you fit in a Formentor?

Hi, first post go easy! This is a bit a of random/niche question, hopefully someone has an answer:). Im currently looking into getting a Formentor or a Leon Estate. I do prefer the Formentor but i have a 9'4 surfboard il like to fit inside my future car! Obviously, I will purchase roof bars...

Can I fit a 7ft surfboard inside a Leon?

Hey I'm currently a 1.4 mk3 ibiza owner, but in a few months I'll most probably be selling it as I need 1. a bigger car and 2. a diesel! And so my choices for this would be either mk1 leon 1.9tdi, cordoba vario tdi, or a vw transporter tdi (yes a VAN!!! :banned: ) Anyway, I was wondering...
