    goin to fit my strut brace today am i correct that i have to drill my own 4 holes in the struts. also the bonnet sensor is in the way and the water bottle??? any ideas:shrug:

    :lol: silly question i know, but as above. I just bought a MOMO front strut brace that listed to fit the mk2 ...but didnt come with screws grrr. anyone got a picture of their screws? what type ...self tapping? how long? thick? tested to fit and its a real b!tch, movement of the coolant tank...

  11. Strutbrace rattle again

    I have had this problem in the past and put pipe cladding around the brace where it meets the airbox. Problem is now the rattle has come back. The airbox and cut straight through the foam padding. I think Its the reason for the noise at 2500 which i initialy blamed on the new milltek(opps)...

    Have searched and results were varied as to what fits. Saw the strutbrace below for a mk1 golf at a reasonable price (sure someone said they fitted) and wanted to know if it would fit for definate. LINK HERE
