speaker or sub

I recently put in an Alpine HU which I'm really happy with. Lovely sound! Other than that, the speakers in my Cupra (non 'R') seem pretty good. I'm thinking of upgrading though. I feel a sub would add the most at the moment. But there are so many out there! What are the basic...
