Ok so i got my mk3 exhaust and went to swap over, and noticed the magnex is a full catback, so the pipe is different :confused: by different i mean it doesn't end where the back box should be does the 8v centre silencer fit? or is the ABF totally different? if so how much is it from a motors...

Tried searching first but no hits.. Whats up with the silencer(?) under the bonnet? Is it just for silencing the engine sounds? Are you using it?

Was just browsing other forums and came across a guy who has removed his turbo silencer ring :|. I drive a Leon FR 150 and just wondered what benefits if any this would have? It seems to be wuite big on trucks in the US and on Diesels especially. Any feedback would be great :) Thanks.

Hello,has anyone removed the silencer out of the alloy boost pipe,the one that runs from the turbo to the first intercooler? I had this pipe off the other day,as im chasing a boost leak,and noticed the silencer in the end.Im sure its got to be worth a few bhp!!
