shocks or springs

Hi, ive been searching the forums finding info on lowering my car around 30-40mm 90% of the posts replys are buy coilovers lol i don't really want coilovers as i know there pretty hard and i don't want to lower it alot i read a post saying standard cupra shocks can lower a 1.4 by around 30-40mm...

Hi all, I own a 1.9TDi PD100 Skoda Fabia, and I know there's a lot of component crossover between the Polo/Fabia/Ibiza range. My question is, does the Ibiza share shocks and springs with the aforementioned model of Fabia? (all standard) Thanks, Andrew
