  2. strut retainer nut?

    hi just wondering how you guys loosened and tightened the spring seat nut on the front struts.It seems to be round with two slot cutouts,haynes recomend making a alternative but i dont have a grinder and itl take me forever to file a socket down to make it,any help? cheers
