reserve

Just wanted to ask about reserve fuel, is it normal for reserve light to come on when there 25miles left? When trip comp states 0miles left for fuel, is the tank empty or if not how much is left?:( Been on my mind cant seem to find anything on the search:whistle:

I've a 2.0 Tdi, and it was reading 0 for the last bit of my journey this evening (3 miles), garage was closed at the time I've about 7 miles to do in the morning to the garage. Does anyone know if there is a reserve in these cars that would get me to the garage?

Does anyone know how big the reserve fuel tank is on the Leon 1.9 TDi FR? The reason i ask is becuase i drove to work this morning the diesel light came on and i was only half way to work... So ive got to work the needle is on the bottom of the red and on the comp is says a big fat "0"...

how many miles do you normally have left once it goes off? i have so far done 540 something to the tank and the lights just gone on, whats the average i should expect before i really really have to fill up? sorry for all these annoying question, but you see i am a Leon virgin. be gentle...
