    just wondering if a stage 1 remap with an aftermarket panel filter would change the sound of the car? i dont really fancy giong down the exaust or induction kit road,but everything seems abit muted after climbing out of a shoping trolly civic type r mk2 cupra bye the way

    Hi all, Recently got a Magnex cat/back system fitted since they were going cheap on ebay and the original box had cracks along it, giving me an excuse to renew it. So far the results have been good, when im alone driving, theres a mild rumble around town stop/start driving 30 mph or so...

  3. OEM Bluetooth > iphone 3g = quiet and rubbish

    Ok, i had an ibiza courtosy car and the sound quality of the OEM bluetooth kit was perfect and people can hear me clear etc, got my leon back and its awful, im having to shout and its too quiet... I have turned up the tlvol to the max and the bluetooth volume on phone to the max but still no...

  4. Why is mp3 so quiet?

    I have now managed to wire up my new Pioneer HU properly and it works with the ignition etc. I have initialised the AUX In to work with seperate MP3 players but the sound is treally quiet and you have to have the volume way up. Does anyone know why? Would a step up transducer help? Cheers

  6. Cupra R - too quiet.

    Really getting to grips with the Cupra R now - just back from a spirited drive, pushing it through the corners:D - the only thing I dont like atm is its too quiet, for me anyway - there is a lack of a distinctive engine note when driving hard - would be cool if it sounded like a vr6 or...

    The resistor mod on me Passat seems to suit it :)
