Another boost gauge question(quicky)

Hi, got my nomad pillar and auto meter gauge for my bday today and was just wondering where everyone wires it in(ign and earth only)? i know the info guide says dimmer switch but id prefer somewhere i can crimp some bullet connectors in to make it nicely removable so have been thinking about...
