power or fluctuation

Hi guys, Occasionally when I put my foot down I lose power, the revs just gradually drop until I slip the clutch and rev it, then it behaves as normal. Any suggestions as to what this could be? It is not "juddering" which I gather is a symptom of a duff coil pack. Apart from the occasional...
