    I have a 2.0 TDI sport Altea (BKD engine - 55 plate)... which I've had for approx 5 months. As far as i remember, it always sounds like a police siren when accelerating/decelerating... i.e. the turbo spools up and down. I'd expect this a little, but it seems to do it between 1k and 2k rpm more...

    well its not until high boost and revs , but it gets pretty loud! a few people have said it might be the air filter , a few have said its normal and a few have said get the urbo checked out! Theres no spluttering or smoke and it seems fine in performance , please could i have some advice? thanks

    seat cupra tdi - police siren type noises???!!

    recently i've noticed that my car is starting to sound like a police siren when pressing the accelerator. Is this anything i need to be worried about? i had it serviced 3000 miles ago (30k service) and the car has been remapped for over 20k miles without any problems so far... help!!!!!!!! :cry:
