Hi Folks,
Bought an Ibiza PD160 back in Feb, great wee car which i got for a good price because it had a few faults of which one (Power Steering fail) i got fixed thanks to the great info from this forum. However i still remain with one issue.
When accelerating from low revs say 1500rpm in 2nd...
I've been sourcing parts to revert my Cupra back to standard ride height/suspension and ditching the coilovers. The number of those narrow 'dome' speed bumps appearing my way are making my commute unbearable. Tbh the coilovers were already on the car when I bought it so no major worries in...
Has anyone tried to replace standard FR PD130 plastic pipe with the Cupra metal PD160 charge pipe?? (6LL145770B (egr to smic)) Is it a direct replacement??
Or can anyone recommend a direct fit aftermarket upgrade please!
Cheers amigos

I'm wondering what is causing my mk4 PD160 ibiza cupra to go into limp mode. It tends to happen at low revs in 6th gear.
I don't get any errors and have replaced the MAF about 6 moths ago. It has only happened 4 times, but that is in the last few weeks.
I've read the forums and people...
Hey guys.
Went for a custom remap at Stealth Racing at the weekend. Met Vince there who is very knowledgeable about all things VAG. Really impressed.
Anyway, He put the car on the rollers to check it's all OK before starting the process and it made 291 lb ft. This is the graph I took a pic...
Ok, my cars in for some warranty work, thought it was wheel bearing but turned out to be excessve play in the CV joint, so joint has been changed, and also a cambelt change. However i also noticed as the per the post the other week that my car did'nt have the correct PD160 specific intake...
I had a Remap at P-Torque with the standard 130PD air intake and now I am fitting a PD160 intake pipe and Trumpet, will it make any difference to the power output compared to if I had it fitted before the remap. Also when I had the map done Will said air intake was restrictive, I was surprised...
i've noticed that in 2nd gear my car will pull from 2-3,000 RPM very rapidly - needle almost jumps... it was also doing the same between 2,800 and 3,000 in 6th on the motorway
is this some kind of overboost kicking in, or have i got a problem somewhere?
