So I have recently brought a cheap seat Leon mk1 cupra the 180bhp 2000 model.
As it was cheap I was aware of a few issues most are taken care of now only one left...

Any one knows what could be the problem ? front passanger door doesn't lock. All other and boot are fine. The light inside the car stays on even when engine's on. I thought it's obvious - lock's gone. But I took it to a local garage and they reset ecu and everything was fine... for few weeks...

At first i thought it was the door seals as my Mum first spotted the problem and it seemed to be streaming down the inner plastic bit infront of the door.
So first thing i did search for leaky door seals found the thread and saw that you should check the pollen filter...
when its been raining i get a trickle of water theat runs in from the bottom of the passanger door when i pull away , if i opne the door before i drive off its fine as the water on the sill seems to disperse, any ideas?

Could anyone help me, I've got a leak coming from a pipe on the right hand side of my passenger footwell. It seems to be connected to the air con and blowers. It's definately not the door seals, and I've checked the pollen filter and cover, which looked a little warped but not so much...
I have just purchased a seat leon 1.6 s 2002 and have just discovered that the passanger floor well is soaking :cry:. Upon inspection the leak appears to be coming from a tube under the trim in the top right hand corner. I'm not sure but i'm fairly sure that it seemed to be dripping faster...
2 days ago my Leon TFSI developed a noise that I can precisely describe as a granfather clock noise that seems to be coming from just behing the glove compartment.
I cant understand what it is, and I am wondering if anyone has any idea what it might be.
the noise is exactly like a clock...
