Possible overboosting causes
What are the possible causes of an over boosing problem, been searching on here and the main one i can find are: split pipes N75 is there any other i should look out for? thanks- psycho6285

overboosting?!?!
had the car in with the mechanic and on the computer and its overboosting! he said it could be the turbo vanes and something else needs cleaned and that could solve it! bt if that doesnt it could be the turbo but he reckons its more than likely the 1st thingy what do yous guys think? its a 2002...- Scoldy

Overboosting! Apparently
Ok so my car went into limp mode tuther night, today at work i put it on solus diagnostics and got a number of fault codes. n249 valve failure (already bypassed) n211? secondary air valve-failure-intermittent and something else i dont remember wht it was, but it said 'maximum boost...- sirjimalot

Smoking and overboosting
I noticed my car smoking under acceleration this morning:confused: It is also over-boosting peaking about 12psi only used to go to 9 or 10 psi Its also a bit smelly has anyone got any ideas? Could it have 2 much oil in it? Tried search but cant put my finger on it Help!!- BADBOYBEEFY
