nasty

hi peeps, for around 6 months or so ive been getting a very nasty squealing noise coming from the turbo just as its coming on full boost, initially it started doing it every now and again but over the last month or so it is almost constant whenever you floor it, I can only describe the noise...

Does anybody know what the noise is coming from the engine on the 1.2s, its like a struggling whistling sound? Is it like it on all or just me :whistle:

Hi all, was driving home last night.... crusing most of the may. Got a nice stretch of open road so booted it in 2nd gear up to about 6k rpm. Had to stop suddenly as the lights just changed red. As the car was stationary for about 1-0-30secs i could smell a nasty burning smell that i can only...

Unfortunately my neighbour opened his door onto mine and has put a dent in the rear drivers side door :( I didnt see him do it but I know it was him as the dent is very high up and he's the only person to park next to me today...I asked him and he denied all knowledge! I was tempted to thump...

Any idea what this is. A chemical sort of smell. Never had a diesel before so I presume it's something to do with the TDi or the DPF.

Hi, The airconditioning in the motor, although still working, has started to smell a bit like a wet dog! Has anyone else experienced this while we've been having the hot weather? Or is it now time for me to bit the bullet and get the AC canister replaced? Cheers - Greg

Had the urge to replace the front pipe on my Miltek on ickle Ibiza... Simple job... straight and a couple of bends... to join the rear box. Longlife (Powerflow) locally make all sorts of *cough* maxP Nova's, Clio's etc,.,... Got all the right kit, benders, mandrel expanders, swagers...
