How do you add an extra power socket with one of these from Maplins?

Hello, I want a more permanent fitting for my tom tom power supply, and I am quite a novice. I am having the dash out on my Mazda this weekend to install a handsfree kit and thought it might be a time to tackle this problem. I have seen this at maplins...
