Ipod location/connection help

I've paid for an ipod conector as an option on my new FR and my car has a loose wire in the glove box. The manual shows it should be under the passenger seat and it looks like you just slide the ipod in to a cradle to connect it - no fiddling with wires. Has anyone else got this option...
