as the thread title says. when i brake fairly sharp the steering wheel judders. anyone have a clue?

Lately ive noticed a jerky/hesitant feeling if I hold a constant speed. It's most noticable if constant speed is around 30 - 40mph. It's not chasis related as when foot is off pedal car is fine. I get the feeling its more like a fueling issue? Could it be a dirty fuel filter? If so where is...
