I ground the bottom left corner off my ATP manifold. Then, I thought I'd bolt the turbo to the manifold to get an idea of the size of it and exactly where it would sit in the engine bay.
A quick peek down the back of the engine made me realise it would be well...
Well ive been contemplating it for ages and now its time to go for it.
Just this minute placed my order for an ATP eliminator GTRS and also some Genesis 550cc injectors and harnesses.

Going to get JKM to do the install, map etc and also make up a custom inlet as...
The question is because I heard some rumors that is too tight It doesn't fit. The space between the cockpit and the firewall interfere with the turbo.
Is this true?, cause if it is , which turbo should I look instead of this one?

anybody know much about the GTRS garrat illimanator turbo??? anybody have 1 or know anybody that has 1. im wanting to get it fitted to my ibiza mk4 cupra 20vt

Just quick one - been looking around the forum for the the best option in terms of intercooler - consensus seems to be the Forge FMIC....:clap: ..... just wondering if it wold be the correct choice if going GTRS.... won't it struggle with charge temps at the 330bhp level?

I'm been having a slight dilema for the last few days whether to proceed with my original choice of GTRS eliminator or whether to "downgrade" to the GT2X package….
My main concern with going GTRS is the lag issue associated with that turbo… although it would be nice to have a motor that can...
ATP sell their eliminator kit with the option of a 3inch big bore TIP – however it seems that it’s unusable if you have a six speed (as I have).
Anyone have any idea how this could be overcome on the 6 speed?

Seems to be mixed opinion on these when doing the GTRS eliminator conversion.... wondering what peoples thoughs are on the following:
When using the standard 3bar FPR on the LC - 550cc? Or could I get away with 440cc if I upgrade to the 4bar FPR?
Any other suggestions ?

the BF SMIC isnt to bad, and all the yanks rate it allot, I just done know why my peak temps where so high! though on the road they are allot cooler.
we also sprayed the IC with water between...
which one would be the the best conversion for my 2001 ibiza cupra?
its currently running 250bhp but i need more power to keep ahed of the scooby boys.
