good or bad

This morning I managed to hit an oddly placed curb and burst my front near side tire. This is bad because I'm on a bit of a tight budget at the moment, BUT is good because it'll give me the push to get a decent set of tires which I've been telling myself I need for ages now! I'm just getting...

i have been searching but cant find any pics it of smooth boots/tailgates seems quiet rare on mk2 but it has such a cluttered boot with all the plastic/wiper/lock

Considering getting some. I know they reduce the life of your shocks but I dont do track days and sont really need to improve handling, although I dont want to make the handling bad!
