Drivers wing mirror foldable?

hello all the passenger wing mirror on my gf's mk 4 ibiza folds (manually) but the drivers side doesnt seem to want to budge? does anyone know if its just the one side that folds or do you think the previous owner has glued the drivers one or soemthing?

Foldable Key Fob - Backwards compatiable?

Guys I have a standard key which is a pain in the pocket, can you get a foldable key and program it to replace the standard key?
