Had a search but didn't find any specific references that helped. Does anyone know what tool you need to undo the screws that hold the MAF element in the housing? I need to remove mine to refit it into a LCR 3" housing but all the tamper-proof and torx heads we've tried don't fit properly...

I think my LCR has realised it's for sale... as yesterday it decided to start eating it's coolant sensor. Great. Luckily not an expensive job but it's more money spent on a car that hopefully wont be mine for much longer. This is, of course, on top of the tax and MOT coming up.... I'm sure...

My Audi A3 1.8T has what appear to be a heater element in the airbox. Two electrical connections go to metal blocks in the top half of the airbox. Does anyone elses car have these??? My Leon Cupra didn't. I want to ditch the airbox and get a CAI so that i can make lots of whooshy noises...
