Vag com says I have a crank and cam sensor problem. Wondered if it might be dodgy earth - the manual says they are both earthed at point '220' for the engine harness but doesn't say where point '220' is. Does anybody know? I've already tried replacing both sensors and timing is fine.

SWMBO's Leon had its clutch replaced on saturday, and while changing the release bearing, my mate noticed that there was a bolt sitting just behind the bearing itself that wasn't tightened up. He took it out tocheck the thread, etc. before replacing it and tightening it up correctly but today...
santa give me a nice sub and amp for xmas..... linked it all up..... but the sub fades if turned up too loud ( which isnt verymuch) ..... ive come to the conclusion that its a bad earth... anyone got advice on the best place to earth??? any advice/ pics much appreciated

Found this rubbery plastic type screw bung thing. It was black and had VW written on it and was loose kicking around in my engine bay.

it was lodged in near the clutch bleed valve, anyone know what it is and if its important?
