How can I display the odometer reading apart from turning on the ignition?

I have a 1995 CLS Ibiza, and I was wondering if it were possible to change the dials (from the standard one with the UGLY clock, to a rev counter dial set. The similar Golf model - with the same engine code (ABD) has a rev counter... so I'd buy one of those ideally. WILL IT WORK? Anyone have any...

hey i've just bought a mk 2 ibiza. so far i have only one problem with it.. it has a clock and not a rev counter!!![:@] is it possible to fit just a rev counter in place of the clock, or do i have to change entire instrument cluster. ta Rob

hey all, got home 2day and could here my engine gently reving by its self!! took a look at my revcounter and it was jumping from about 500rpm to about 800rpm..... anyone had this problem or know what causes it? cheers for any help.
