coilovers or springs

Right, im thinking about changing my standard fr suspension. But what to? I want something thats going to handle well but not be bone crushingly harsh. was thinking maybe adjustable coilovers? (damping adjustable that is) but do i really need them? I dont want to lower the car for looks...

Right where is the best place & resonable place to get suspion for my mk3 t reg ibiza?????? Are there any other cars that run the same suspion i.e. mk2 golf????? Any help would be great cheers!
