clonking

Hi guys, Noticed a clonking noise which sounds metal to metal mainly when driving in the wet as the wheels spin in 1st. I think its the rwar engine mounts / gearbox mount. Sound about right? Anyone know the part no? Thanks, Dan

Hi there Just lately both my front seats in the car have started clonking as you accelarate and when you brake sometimes. Any ideas on what could be happening guys and girls:confused:, could it be the seats need tightning up or something? any replys will be greatfully received, cheers

i had a new anti roll bar and left and right track rod ends and new wish bone bushes now when i brake and turn right i get a clonking noise that is lound no one can say what it is with out looking but has anyone had the same or got any idea thanks dan

When i'm on full lock(both ways) i get a clunk sound comin from the wheels. It feels like the wheel is moving. any ideas what it could be? was thinking lower arms or something like that

Howdy! My drivers seat has developed a horrible clonk. It happens when you shift your weight from the back to the front of the seat and also when you go over bumps........anyone else had the same/have any ideas??? Cheers...

Not sure if it's related to this but thought I'd mention it. Anyway, recently my Ibiza has developed another clonk in the past week. I say another as it was clonking in the past when coming off / on the pedals and that was put down to knackered bushes. I got them replaced by Powerflex ones...

I've developed a clonk from the nearside front suspension it happens after braking and turning right -mainly roundabouts. it also does it when i reverse out of my garage. Any idea- I've only done 15000 miles and have Koni dampers fitted.
