my problem is, when cold starting the car does not idle, i have to keep my foot on the accelerator pedel (even when braking for some lights i need to take it out of gear then left foot brake while keeping the car from cutting out due to not idleing properly, when the car is warm it will idle...

my car will only idle properly at 900 rpm when the car is warm. stepdad has said the auto chock does not come in un till the car has warmed up. i got a vagcom lined up and one of the codes was the throttle positing and i want to set it up properly and dont no how, anyone know how to do so??

As title realy when im starting up from cold im getting stuttering but only when im sat their warming my lc up i have cleaned the maf and throtle body and reset everything im unsure if its a coil pack as it only happens when first starting :shrug:

Any ideas what may be the cause...I know it could be a long list of things but is this a common problem? When the engine is stone cold it would intermitantly start to misfire quite badly for a good 20 seconds. Never seemed to have an issue when warm...always seems to be when on choke. I...
