Hi all, Anybody got a good recommendation for a 3 bike rack for a Cupra 290. One that won't rip the spoiler off preferably. Roof or rear rack would be fine. Cheers

I was wondering whether the spoiler of the ibiza would hold a bike rack (you know, the ones that use hooks instead of a tow bar). i have it from my previous car and i dont really have a tow bar (and i prefer it this way :P). ps. sorry if this has been answered before!

Well... since the departure of tonys Golf, i decided to buy one and do exactly the same as him and put a 2l 16v in it on bike carbs :D Got the car for a tidy sum and then me and Danny Guthrie set to work on transforming her... Pics of the car before the conversion:

as title... has anyone actually ever bike carb'd their mk2 ibiza? Im thinking along the lines of the 2l / 1.8 versions... im doing the same thing to a mk1 golf running an ABF engine, but its the same engine as some of the GTi's so figured someone might have done it on theirs? Nice and easy...

Anyone managed to fit a bike inside the ibiza? Regular Mountain Bike.

Hi Guys, can anyone who has one, tell me which type they have and where they got it from. I'm not sure whether to go for a roof or boot mounted one. And have you had any problems with it? Probably looking to carry only 1 bike, but maybe 2 in the future. Thanks

Bit off the norm, but looking for a bike rack that's suitable for the Leon to carry. Halfords ones say they aren't suitable because of the plastic spoiler. I don't want a tow ball one, or one that needs a lighting board but can't find one anywhere. Anyone use these at all?

I've had a little search through the threads and have found a lot of discussion about roof racks, but none on boot mounted racks. I was thinking about getting some genuine Seat roof bars off ebay and then a Thule rack, but this is a rather expensive option, plus the wind-resistance and height...

I know there is a few bikers on here - what carrier do you use ? I'm not forking out for a detachable towbar although I know its the best method... That leaves me with a rear mounted one (they always seem to scratch the car & my Leon mk II FR and indeed all Leons have a spoiler) or roof...
