bearings

Hi, can someone tell me if the front wheel bearings on the Leon Cupra TDI's are sealed units or not. Just in a dispute with a warranty company and need to know if they are sealed units because these should last up to 85k. What is the average life of wheel bearings also.

On there way out, Im finding it abit difficult at minute as i have grooved brake discs, so i get the whirring noise under braking, with the pads hitting the grooves on the disc. My gearbox makes noises too. I know what a knackerd one sounds like as a friend with his Lupo gti, was that bad...

just fitted a new turbo on my car and now its making the same noise as the old turbo ( compressor wheel catching the inner inlet housing) so it looks like the turbo is not getting any oil and bearings have gone as it does not smoke atall but does not boost either. does anyone have any links...

It seems that I have a sticky strut top bearing. I'm going to be getting some coilovers soon, but was told that coilovers include a strut top bearing on them - is this true?? Would save me having to buy new ones! Thanks Chris :)

i ordered 2 rear discs for my 2.0 8v cupra (the hub type discs) and was wondering if they need bearings pressing into them? they have very odd looking bore inside the hub part of the discs. :confused: there seems to be 2 seperate bearings on the old ones, inside and outside.
