Went to start car last Friday and it wouldn't and was also difficult to open with the remote key fob. The two days before it had only been used for a couple of 1 mile round trips. Put my battery tester on and it showed that the battery needed charging and 3 hours of my elderly Bradex charger...
can't find it but did I once see somewhere that when replacing key fob batteries you were better using 2x3volt at half the thickness ie; 2x2016's instead of 2032 anyone with a better memory, that's most of you:shrug:
I have not driven my car for two days and when I went to start it today, the battery has run flat. Is this due to the very cold temperatures we've recently had at night? Or is it because the battery installed simply isn't big enough for my needs?

hi all can anyone help i have just replaced the batteries in my key fob and it opens and locks the car but when i try to start the engine it turns over then just dies been told could be the immobiliser but i still dont know what to do lol:cry: :D thanks any help would be great
