I was talking about the whole atmospheric valve thing with my mate who used to work for a small motorsport company, he can't understand why we can't run an atmospheric valve as long as its twin piston?
He was saying bailey actually sell the valves with a fitting kit that includes a blank for...

Wondering if someone could help. I have a standard cupra apart from stage one revo, when chnaging gear between say 4000-5000rpm i get a wooosh style noise like an atmospheric DV. Is this normal or do you think the standard DV is kancked and losing pressure?!
a friend of mine had an atmospheric dv on his ibiza cupra, said he had it on the inlet manifold or something like that? would this work on my leon if so, how would i do it? cheers

I have an Baileys DV26 atmospheric dv and i know of all the problems this causes with LCR.
But if i bypass the N249 and remove the vacuum reservoir does this not solve part of problems?

Anyone who's after the infamous wooshy wooshy sound from their recic dump valves should try this....
1x Ripspeed Universal Air Filter (772756) - Fits straight on to the MAF so no messing around. £27 (Halfords)
1x Bailey DV30 Recirc Dump Valve £80-90
And obviously a remap will help...
My Leon Cupra (180) is sitting standard at the mo but will be getting a jabbasport re-map at the end of the summer. Before then I am fitting an induction kit and a new Dump valve. What do you lot with Cupra's have re-circulating or atmospheric.....do the atmospheric valves get on your tits...
