antifreeze or coolant

  1. Slow Occasional Coolant loss over 5 month, some questions.

    I've posted this a comment on different thread but didn't want to distract had a few extra thoughts on it. I've a 2016 1.8tsi FR DSG Estate on 68k. I'm noticing that I'm loosing a bit of coolant over time. I bought the car June from a as a part ex from a PSA/Vauxhall/KGM (Non VAG) dealership...

    hey peeps, i have already hit the search button on this one and come up with the general consensus that g12 is best however would like to know if G11 is really an issue in the older cars as i know G12 is good for those that reach higher temps etc etc.... as it stands the car has neat g11...
