only seems to happen when i really boot the car, mk1 leon cupra t. when i get it up to 5000 revs (only seems to happen in 2nd and 3rd) the battery light comes on and i loose breaks and steering, obv not completely but as if its stalled, quick few taps on the accelerator and it boots back in...
right i have just got my car revo stage 2 and im well happy with it apart from it seems to lose alot of power between 5000 and 6000 rmp i have a front mounted intercooler. changeing at 5000rmp seems to be the quickest way. JUst wondering what other peoples are like or if some can tell me what...

Just after some advice really. I bought my Cupra R just over a year ago now (ex-demo) from Listers Coventry. Its was already remapped by Revo, and was told it was running at about 275 bhp.
This is the second Cupra R I've had now, previous one was running at 265 bhp on the 210...
Has anyone experienced the same as me?
Bought the car in Feb 06 with delivery mileage.
Its now done 5100 ish miles (Sept 06) and the service light is flashing.
Looking at the V5, the car was first registered on 30/09/05.
Surely there can't be an internal clock in the car somewhere telling...
I've gotta ibiza 2.0 8v on a 97/R after an overheatin problem i've replaced the head gasket but whilst doin that the hall sensor (on the side of the dizzy) went tits up and needed replacing. Now, the car is hittin the rev limiter at 5000 rpm.
Any ideas???
Last weekend I did an VAG-COM test iwth my Leon and it shows that the Airmass is falling between 5 en 6000 rpm. Boost was alright (1,54 Bar max).
