ok, so i know there are loads of threads on the subject of 17's and lowering, but I've done a search and its left me a bit unsure! Picking up some 17's tomorrow (leon starsfish :D) and will be needing to change the tyres on them. I intend to the lower the car on springs and shocks, say -35mmm...

hi there im looking to get some new alloys my brother's mate is gettin rid of his and im just wanderin if the fitmen would be ok i belive they came off his golf their Rim 17'' offset .35 stud 4 Width 215 if you have have you gone with the same width tyre or gone smaller (eg 205) they...

As above..... will 215/40/17's go on a mk3 Ibiza Cupra with a H&R cup kit ? The wheels are OZ super T's 7x17' and its currently got 205's on there with no problem...

I have 7.5 width alloys and they fit perfectly without rubbing etc with 205/4017 toyos. But the kerb is trashing my alloys well other way round. Wodering whether 215 would be better, in another seat forum someone has 21545 17 but have no picture to see if it looks stupid
