remap 1.9tdi 110-any advise??

hi guys, currently got a completely standard 1.9tdi 110bhp leon, looking to start modifying the engine, does anybody have any advice for re-mapping.... i.e. -is it as good as they say? -what is a reasonable price-ive seen everything from 80-350 pounds for seamingly the same thing?? and any...
