i was thinking about getting 1 aswell

what way did you have to mod it to fit?

just had to spend a fair bit of time manovering the rest of the system round so it pulls the pipe over,could really do with being manufactured 1/2 inch to the left but for £70 i think its worth the hassle.nice kit complete with gaskets etc

I wouldnt touch it unless you have it mapped to say its been de-catted, gonna throw up a CEL fault and limp mode very near.

Also some bending and jigging will be needed for it to clear the steering rack.

does stage 2 revo cure it cos i have a standard down pipe with the internal cells taken out so its straight throw

every so often engine light comes on i know its cos of the cat

ps i already have stage 1

gotta admit i didnt really push it hard as i live 3miles from the garage and was stuck behind a few cars for most of it

but what i felt i was pleased with, revs seem much more free and nippy, im not one for going past 6k anyway but car feels strong upto that point, its not as obvious when the power tails off as it was with less mods.. its an expensive mod but not a waste of money

oh and for reference as this seems like the appropriate thread, they snapped one of my studs (this is why it was not done earlier) but they told me they had no problems replacing the snapped stud and lubed the others up nice so that they came off easy

half hour to free the snapped stud apparantly

40quid to not get my hands dirty chuffed :D

i noticed the difference with mine when i took the internals out also you can hear the turbo spin like mad (sounds like a pig squiling quite loud) sounds really nice really pops and bangs (you get nice back fires)

Arghh i wanna downpipe now, think i'll go 3" though as people say its worthwhile?

I want my car to squeel like a pig LOL

i asked this before and someone said if your getting a KO3S, best off putting a 3" one on? If it doesnt cost me too much more it'll be worth it wont it?

thats the unanswered question, anyone can say its worth it but without the proof it means sweet fa. valid proof is more than just 2 RR results from different days. especially if the original is questionable to begin with
