No it isn't. Thats something serious if its popping out of gear. Probably a broken selector fork... i.e. new gearbox time.

Had the gearbox replaced in my 1.6. Problem started with a slight hesitation in acceleration after changing gear though at the time I didn't think it was a gearbox problem (Had been having throttle body problems). Booked it into the dealers to have it checked but before it was due the gearbox started making whining noises. By the time I stopped something inside had knocked a hole in the bottom of the gearbox and the oil had spilt out. All happened a month before the warranty ran out
