Looking to fit a set of 5 stud audi tt wheels to the Ibiza mk3.

Anyone supply proper hub convertors????

Getting a set of tt comps very cheap so hopefully can get hubs to match :D

There was a thread about this on E38 today actually...

CupraT on here is thinking about fitting those wheels. Not sure what the offset is but I think it must be high enough to accommodate the 20mm of the hub adapters. :)

why 'must' it be?

because you want it to be?

I think they're about ET35, so if you slap a 20mm adaptor plate on it - who's going to have no arches left

i think the easiest way to do this is to used the hubs etc off a vr6 golf or corrado

i was going for the polished audi tt comp's, but was advised by a few alloy wheel specialists not to do so. the rear will go down a treat due to simple fact of flared arches on the mk3 cupra, but the front arches wont stand a chance.

Because it doesn't conform to the norm.....doesn't mean it can't/won't be done.

Roll the arches and you'll get a TT rim with an offset of 35 running a 20mm adaptor under the arches.

trust me - you won't get anywhere near 20mm extra if you roll the arch, the material just isn't there to move.

How do you know for definite though... i hope you're proven wrong! lol

I didn't know what the offset of the TT wheels was, but I guessed it might be quite high as I knew Mark was thinking about fitting them.

In any effect, from pictures I've seen of European mk3s i'd say there is the 'possibility' of fitting wide wheels and flaring the arches...

Just a few examples:

Now thats what I needed to do...
rolled the edges flat which did flare a little but not enough... so "other" mods employed.

wish I could do bodywork.

Well, my Rondells are 7.5x16 ET36. I'm also running 20mm spacer (per side), so effectively taking the ET down to 16. The car's set to ultra low, and there's no rubbing or scuffing on the front what so ever, and that's before having the arches rolled.

So, i don't see it being a major problem running a 7.5 Audi TT rim with an offset of ET33 with a 20mm spacer. The only difference being is that the TT rim is 17".
