Hi.

In order to register the car in the UK (spanish reg) I have to change the clock dials which i have already done so.

I went for a ride after doing this to make sure everything was reading ok. This is when I noticed a difference of about 20-25 KM/h (above) in what the dial was reading and my true speed (according to climate control reading).

It was only when I got home that I realised that the clocks are different. Although they are both 260 km/H (160 mph).

As you can see from the pictures, at 12 oclock the spanish dial reads 100 km/h (60 mph) and the UK spec one reads 130 km/h (80 mph)

I bought the dials from ebay but I left the original electronics so I would have to pair the clock and inmobiliser so less hassle which is why there is this error.

Is the anyway to modify this problem via Vag-COM?

Cheers

Managed to fix the problem using just VAG-Com

Entered in module 17 where the original soft coding was 04104 and changed it to 04107. Now at low speeds the error is approximately 2 kph and at high speeds approx 8 kph.

Roughly the same as when it was new.

For those of you that are interested:

nº4: stock value for FR which reads -8% on real speed.
nº5: value which reads between 0 and 0,5% real speed.
nº6: value which reads +6% real speed.
nº7: value which reads +10% real speed.

Glad you got it sorted mate, I didn't have a clue you could sort that out with VAG-Com, saying that I don't really know much about VAG-Com, thanks for letting others know though for future reference! :)
