Hi guys, new to the forum! I’ve got a 58 plate Leon fr with nearly 96k on the clock and I’ve been having some issues with it!

Since I bought it it’s had an issue with lots of white smoke coming out of the exhaust when idle, I’ve had it to a mechanic and they were stumped as to what it could be! Anyway I took it for its mot and it failed on the emissions, the reading was 9.9!
The guy plugged it in to the computer and it came back with these4 faults:
001138 exhaust gas pressure sensor signal too low.
001137 exhaust gas pressure sensor implausible signal
012600 intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation
000665 – Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached
001026 – EGR System: Excessive Flow.
I’ve had it at seat and they said it was a dpf issue but I’m doubtful. The mot obviously failed and I’m left wondering what to do!!
The injectors were replaced as part of the recall but I’ve heard that sometimes they don’t sit them back right, could this be the issue?
Can anyone help??

Highly unlikely to be an issue with the actual DPF itself in my opinion and that is the last thing you want to be replacing anyway if you can help it because they cost well over £1000.

See the "Possible Solutions" and "Special Notes" sections of the following Wiki pages (just click on the hyperlinks):-

  1. Fault Code 001137 & 001138 -> Failure of the G450 sensor seems to be a fairly common fault so probably best to just get that one replaced.
  2. Fault Code 012600
  3. Fault Code 000665
  4. Fault Code 000665 -> The EGR valves are renowned for getting clogged up with soot so before replacing that I would attempt to clean it first.

Cheers for the replies guys, no it's not had an egr or dpf delete, I know it's nothing to do with the dpf but Ibe had loads of people look at it and no one can find a solution! The most popular thing seems to point to the cam timing but would this cause the over fueling that's happening?
