Hi Everyone in need of help asap. I was just looking in my engine bay on the mk3 ibiza i bought a few months back and have noticed hanging down on the turbo is i beleive a VAC valve theres two mounted on the rocker cover at the back. It was N249 bypassed but i know the guy previously nicked the ko3s turbo and sold it with a ko3 but advertised as a ko3s. So i don think its bypassed anymore. I have various spare little bits of pipe, a black and whit think that looks like a kind of filter and another little vac valve box thing, the red pipe that comes from the intake manifold and splits to thte recirc valve appears to have one end loose with some melted plastic in one end, and another blue pipe has melted through and is loose at one end.

HELP ANY IDEAS?

Photos will be up in a few mins

Need to know what i should do asap as need to drive to college tomoz, however these have obviously been like this for weeks i guess and i have been using turbo, boosting at 20psi but i duno what i should be doing about these ends before and damage is caused :/

Try this mate this is the easiest instructions to follow (not mine Mcfunbot he's the master of the n249)

Just start again with new vac pipes following this guide and all should be good :)

inlet mani to fpr one line as it is standard..
egr to actuator one single vac line.
Second vac pipe off inlet to dump valve
take everything of the top unbolt the crap put in bin.
the 2 wires with plugs an resistors on the end just hide some where an tape back up the wires
job done mate no pmessing.. hows that?
an boost gauge i did of the little nipple on the pipe that comes out the end of the inlet mani on the left as you lok in to it..

you only need 2 vac lines.. one from your inlet mani to your dv and from your inlet mani to your fpr. leave the n249 plugs in just chase the wires out the an it will keep the dash lights off. remove everything else..

Currently i have a pipe from the mani > a T with one end to the dump valve and the other to the thing on the right of the engine where i used to have a blue pipe to, is this correct or is the picture as i had above correct?

And is my second boot pipe from the Ko3 ok just capped?

Sorry to bring this up again.

So I have one vac from the inlet to DV
One from the inlet to the fuel pressure
One vac from the actuator straight to the EGR?

Where is the EGR?
